I have dining rooms with green chairs on my mind because of a recent design I have been working on. Choosing the right shade of green is not as easy as you would think. I really want the chairs to have a punch of color but need to keep with a warm undertone. I think these two images capture exactly what I had in mind......
A color halfway between yellow and green that was named because of its resemblance to the green color of one of the French liquers called green chartreuse, introduced in 1764. I think this color is becoming one of my top picks for interior decor. These beautiful images below highlight why!
This image stopped me in my tracks as I was reading through some of my fav blogs! There are so many reasons I LOVE this room! So let me start from the top down. The chandelier is the perfect mix of something big and yet still delicate. The white walls allow the furnishings and patterns to stand out against a white canvas. The french trestle farm table style and chairs are kept modern and bright with the amazing contrasting fabrics on the chairs. What about these leather seats and backs, works perfect if you have kids too! It is just the perfect combination of traditional style made fun and modern and feeling relaxed. Love all the accessories too!
