The Brooklyn Flea!

Well, it has been a really long couple of weeks for me, I got the worst flu ever! I can't remember the last time I was this sick. Sadly I found out that I wasn't the only one suffering. Many fellow bloggers and friends have been feeling the same way. So sorry for the lack of posts this month!

A few weeks back I posted some great antique flea markets in NYC and today I wanted to share with you another one. The Brooklyn Flea is a wonderful antique market worth the trip! My favorite Etsy seller Green Zebre is a vendor there and will be there some weekends in March , so I thought I better get this post out soon!

From April through Thanksgiving, the markets take place outdoors: on Saturdays in Fort Greene and on Sundays in Williamsburg. From Thanksgiving through March, the market moves indoors to Skylight One Hanson in the landmark former Williamsburgh Savings Bank, our current location.

The Flea features hundreds of top vendors of antique and repurposed furniture, vintage clothing, collectibles and antiques, as well as a tightly curated selection of jewelry, art, and crafts by local artisans and designers, plus delicious fresh food.

Another great little day trip for all of you antique and vintage lovers out there!

Green Zebre Home of Morristown, New Jersey!

You won't find a store front just yet......But Whitney Davis of Green Zebre Vintage Home in Morristown, NJ has a wonderful selection of vintage home decor accents and furniture that I just have to tell you about on Etsy! She runs her unique business out of her home for now but also at the Brooklyn Flea Market (my next post)! She has an interesting inventory that is constantly being updated and hopefully in the near future she will have her own design studio. The best part for all of you in the NJ/NY area is that you can pick up your purchases yourself, no shipping fees! Please stop by and check our her shop here and type in Green Zebre under sellers. Here are just a few of my favorites...

NYC Antique Flea Markets!

I have always enjoyed rummaging at flea markets. It is especially fun when you find that special something....You may not know what that is until you see it! Well, there are some great antique flea markets that are worth a visit in NYC! It has been a cold winter, what a fun way to spend a few hours on the weekend indoors and outdoors. I am going to feature two markets below in this post. Over the next few weeks, I will also share with you markets in Brooklyn and upstate NY. Please let me know if you make the trip and if you found something you loved. Email me a picture and I will post it for everyone to see! Thanks to all of you readers, the public ones as well as you private ones! I appreciate you taking the time out of your day to stop by. Please write me if you have any decorating questions or dilemmas lately and I will give some "Denise" advice! Thank you for all of your support! Okay now for the markets.....

Antique Flea Market in Lambertville NJ!

So this coming fall weekend take a drive Saturday or Sunday morning and hit a great flea market that will keep you busy for hours! A bonus is that it is just outside one of the cutest towns in all of New Jersey!

GOLDEN NUGGET ANTIQUE FLEA MARKET
is worth a visit to find something unique and nostalgic to put in your home. I personally collect milk glass and have purchased some here but maybe you can even find the jadeite green milk glass which is more difficult to come by. The market has furniture, prints, glassware, textiles and much more. If you are coming from north Jersey, stop and have breakfast at a place that I can't get enough of. The Lovin Oven in Frenchtown NJ will delight your palate with the most amazing flavors and it is all organic! So make a day of sighseeing and shopping along the beautiful Delaware River!
