Sometimes simple IS better....

especially in the bathroom. There are endless ranges of tile choices and pricing out there. But I am definitely a fan of simple white bathrooms that don't have to blow the budget. Patterns and colors can be trendy and really date your bath 10-15 years down the road. Choosing simple white tile will always be classic and with a little bleach can always look fresh and great! Home Depot and Lowe's have plenty of options that are affordable. Playing with grout colors can also have a great impact. These photos below tell the story.....

  2. Hi Denise!
I loved seeing this post! It makes me feel so good about our plans to renovate our two bathrooms. They are both being gutted today! We have picked white subway tiles for the walls in both. One will have a white marble floor with black accents, one will have an off white tumbled marble floor. It's beyond exciting to get new bathrooms. Our house is almost 60 years old and we still had the original baths. I will send you photos of the finished project!! Hope all is well. Love, Felicia Carter

    1. P.S. I forgot to mention that Castle Ridge Construction from Bedminster NJ is our contractor! We are in awe of their tireless efforts to plan the perfect renovation project while working with a relatively small amount of space. In the end, it will be a fabulous upgrade to our home, and one that we will use everyday! -FC
